Angela Denise is a Bajan American Artist based in New Jersey. She discovered her talent and passion for art after a life changing surgery. In just 5 years, she has produced hundreds of pieces and has acquired quite a few collectors of her work.

Angela's artwork has been showcased in many galleries around New Jersey and New York as well as in Eliot Maine. She has been interviewed on multiple platforms to discuss her technique and style. Angela’s work has also been featured in several art magazines.

Angela Denise is an Early Childhood Educator for the NYC Department of Education. Yearly her work is featured in WorkWell, NYC's ART IS LIFE - City Employee Artist Showcase.

Having a master’s degree in urban Multicultural Education. She utilizes both her educational background and passion for art daily by creating curriculum to aid in the development of young minds, in particular 3K and PreK students. Her hope is to inspire children to tap into their own creative nature and think outside of the box.

Angela is also a Certified Breathe For Change Mindfulness, and SEL Facilitator. She uses this certification to bring mindfulness and relaxation techniques to her school community and friends and family. This practice builds on her own belief of having a positive mindset to create a healthier mental state. She has often incorporated these empowering messages into her artwork. Artworks with words or phrases such as:

"I Matter"- "You Matter" - "Broken Girls Bloom into Warrior's" - "Be the light in darkness" - "Unity" - "Destiny - "Purpose"

Her personal mission is to uplift and empower people by helping them find therapeutic ways to deal with mental and physical adversities and day to day life stressors.
